Call Me - Pinup

My second (and last) entry for Pin-Up contest. This time I did it digitally to get that soft airbrushed effect. I deliberately refrained from making it too realistic so I didn't try to add really visible hair strands or skin texture, or texture and color the teeth. A huge row of pearly whites, undefined, seem to be another part of the classic pin up look. Plain and simple is how I wanted it to look. No muss, no fuss.

I referenced the pose from a photo of an Old Hollywood actress. I thought that shade of green would look elegant on her as a bathing suit, and I ran out of color ideas for her sandals. I thought some sort of pumpkin color would go with the green, and still add warmth to the painting. Of course, bright red lips and nails are a must in my opinion, so she got those slapped on heavily.
