Dan LuVisi's (aka `DanLuVisiArt ) graphic novel LMS, Last Man Standing - Killbook of a Bounty Hunter is now available for pre-order through Heavy Metal. The Limited Edition is 15" x 10" and 230 pages of graphic eye candy for girls and boys. If you're a fan of his art, then this book is a must have. I've already pre-ordered mine!

His most recent journal entries explain clearly what it is all about and he also discusses future plans for LMS. Dare I say a movie and a game? Read it: [link]

Hmm, I'm not too sure now, by the look of the preview I can't make much sense of it. Is the whole book supposed to be like a scrapbook? Seems a bit weird.

Dan explains it better than I ever could. Read his synopsis in the artist's comments, second paragraph: [link]

If you've taken a look at his LMS gallery then you'd know that weird is an understatement. Weird, but damn good. :giggle:

I've read the synopsis but I'm having a hard time picturing how this story is conveyed throughout the book. I'll have to presume it is mostly through the newspaper cuttings that occur on most pages. Personally I'm not 100% sure whether I'll enjoy it, but I'll order it in anyway. I think in any case it might be a unique gift. He's put a lot of work into it and as you say he is an artist who needs the support.

I'm not exactly sure what to expect either, but since I love his artwork so much, that will probably be the main focus for me. Hubby on the other hand is dying to read the book after looking at the LMS website. Dan has created a whole slew of pretty amazing characters and biographies. Oh, have you read his current journal? Seems that a movie might be in the works in the near future.

Oh, a movie huh? I think that might be brilliant, his story would work very well imho. Let's just hope it gets a huge budget and an excellent director :)
